Etowah Republican Assembly
Home of the conservative grassroots in Rome/Floyd County
MAKE FLOYD COUNTY GREAT AGAIN!!!

The Etowah Republican Assembly is a local chapter of the Georgia Republican Assembly (GRA), which itself is part of the broader National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA). This organization is dedicated to promoting conservative principles within the Republican Party in the area around Floyd County, Georgia.
Foundation: The Etowah chapter was established in May 2023 in Floyd County, Georgia.
Leadership: President: Angela Rubino
Vice President: David Smith
Secretary: Dianne Graham
Treasurer: Melissa Smith
Activities:
We have been active in various political protests and advocacy efforts, notably protesting against controversial events like the Rome "Transqueer Pride" parade.
We focus on issues like election integrity, opposition to special local option sales tax (SPLOST), and mask mandates, showing a commitment to grassroots activism.
Legal Issues: Members of the Etowah Republican Assembly were arrested for "unlawful assembly" during a protest against a local Pride event, highlighting their stance on certain cultural and social issues.
Community Engagement: We work to engage community members in political activism, aiming to influence local policy in line with conservative values.
Relationship with Local GOP: There seems to be some tension or noted lack of support from the local Floyd County Republican Party, as many ERA members have felt unsupported in their activism efforts.
The Etowah Republican Assembly is thus a local, conservative political action group within the Republican Party framework, focusing on both political activism and public education on conservative principles.

President Trump knows something strange happened in Floyd County during the 2020 election.
Marjorie Taylor Green knows all about the problems with Georgia's elections. Unfortunately for the citizens of Floyd County, our state and local representatives along with the current leadership of the Floyd GOP are still living in denial. How much longer will they continue repeating the tired old talking point that we have the "Safest most secure election in Georgia history" in spite of all the evidence to the contrary?
The Etowah Republican Assembly is the America First wing of the Republican Party in Floyd County.
Former President Ronald Reagan called the Republican Assembly “the Conscience of the Republican Party,” and over the years we’ve lived up to the reputation through our chapters’ tireless political productivity
